MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :-
i‚ Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods;
i‚ Carrying out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to
equipment faults;
i‚ Diagnosing breakdown problems;
i‚ Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly;
i‚ Carrying out quality inspections on jobs;
i‚ Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and
production colleagues;
i‚ Arranging specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components;
i‚ Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment;
i‚ Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs;
i‚ Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs;
i‚ Writing maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning
guidelines;
i‚ Ensuring there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case
of breakdowns.
i‚ Diagnosing faults and relate to the production process if the same fault
is repeating.
i‚ Suggest improvements to the manufacturing process to avoid client returns.
QUALIFICATION :-
i‚ B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering.
i‚ Minimum 5 Yearsa€™ Experience on Equipment Technical service.
i‚* Computer program skills.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE :-
i‚ Prepare and maintain production reports.
i‚ Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary
interventions for improvement.
i‚ Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and
techniques.
i‚ Knowledge of raw materials.
i‚ Knowledge of quality systems and standards.
i‚ Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
i‚ Knowledge of machines and tools.
i‚ Knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices.
i‚* Solid computer skills.
