JOB TITLE: F-‎15 Cisco Network Engineer
SUMMARY:
DAWSON is looking for the next Cisco Network Engineer for the Royal Saudi Air
Force (RSAF) F-‎15 Supply Services contract, located in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia. This position will develop recommendations for process changes and
procedure to enhance operations of automated supply system Local Area Network
(LAN's), Wide Area Network (WANs) effectiveness within the logistics complex.
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with
high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team
settings across all levels.
Location: This position is in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Function as the liaison, when necessary, to assist the implementation of policies, procedures, and processes.
* Research existing infrastructure capabilities by the development of recommendations for process changes and procedures to enhance operations of automated supply system LAN's, WANs effectiveness within the logistics complex.
* Function as a liaison, when necessary, to assist the implementation of policies, procedures and processes.
* Plan the network architecture.
* Create the architectural documentation.
* Leads the design, analysis, development, and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for complex business solutions.
* Determine when to schedule meeting with vendors and customer stakeholders to finalize key decisions.
* Develop high-quality documentation that utilizes well-written narrative, tables, and diagrams to provide a world-class product to our customer.
* Communicate both verbally and writing with team members, vendors, and the customer on a regular basis.
* Troubleshoots and proceeds on resolving complex infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations, etc.
* Work with several Cisco platform technologies
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science or a related scientific field
* ‎5 years professional experience with networking
* CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and/or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise
* Network design and build experience.
* Technical knowledge of networks, server, and pc operating systems
* Exposure to diverse technology skills, in any of the following areas, network/server/voice infrastructure design/build/modification, business application management and LAN/WAN administration, Routers, Switches, Firewalls
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.

* Proven analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
