Basic Functions
Assists in evaluating current and proposed aviation systems and procedures.
Recommends changes when necessary and assists in the implementation of new
processes. Provides subject matter expertise based on experience in the
aviation industry. Facilitates contract deliverables by participating in
strategic planning initiatives aligned with internal resources.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
A. Duties/responsibilities:
1. Analyzes, develops and integrates while publishing plans, policies and
other procedural documents in support of the Aviation Program Management
Office.
2. Performs complex master planning and project planning studies for the
Aviation Program; including generating planning information, preparing
planning documents and exploring areas of concern.
3. Gathers information from a variety of sources, including published
information, interviews, meetings, studies, other agencies, surveys and
observations while providing recommendations on the value of information
obtained.
4. Directs, manages and reviews consultant contracts and work products
related to aviation projects.
5. Serves as an aviation contact and liaison for all departments.
6. Assists in the development of strategic plans for operational activity.
7. Facilitates coordination and communication between support functions.
8. Assist in conducting interviews with hires new employees and initial
onboarding for new hires arriving into KSA.
B. Independence: Reports to the Aviation Program Manager. Works within the
policies and procedures of the contract. Implements goals and objectives
within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: As Assigned
Minimum Qualifications
A. Education Level:
1. Bachelor's Degree preferred or military experience equivalent.
2. Graduate of Warrant Office or Noncommission Officer Advance course
required.
B. Experience:
1. 5 years' experience directly involved with aviation recruiting, retention
and operations.
2. Two years' experience at Vinnell Arabia desired.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements:
1. Knowledge of policies and procedures of aviation military staff
organization and operations.
2. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
3. Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and
courteous manner.
4. Knowledge of pertinent KSA (Labor Law), MNG and OPM-SANG operational
procedures concerning job related activities desired.
5. Proficient in MS Office Professional software required (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Access, Outlook and Publisher).
6. Possess a valid drivers' license.
