Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Facilities Coordinator
to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy
(PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of
northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of
Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of ‎26,500 km2 (‎10,200 sq
mi) and will extend ‎460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

What You'll Be Doing:
* A mid-level staff position responsible for planning, organizing and carrying out day-to-day personnel administration assignments within the Administration Department.
* Participates in the development, evaluation, interpretation and enforcement of company personnel policies and procedures.
* May be responsible for assigning and supervising the work of secretarial or clerical personnel.
* Reports to the Administration Manager.
* Receives general supervision and direction in the achievement of specific goals and objectives and in the performance of work assignments.
* Consistently exercises discretion and independent judgment, receiving direction and review on the overall approach and effectiveness of techniques utilized in the achievement of tasks.
* Responsible for the development and management of the site services and facilities programs.
* Responsibilities include all building service activities.
* This includes negotiating with vendors to provide services such as janitorial, onsite maintenance, recycling and general facilities services.
* Provides direction to vendors and monitors the quality of vendor's work.
* Proactively works to understand and meet the needs of the employees and managers related to vendor's services as appropriate.
* Initiates corrective action with vendors when necessary.
* Responds promptly to employee's concerns.
* Assists in developing budgets and monitors budget performance, approves invoices for payment to correct accounts.
* Manages construction and maintenance projects including coordination with architects, engineers, other consultants, general contractors, sub-contractors, space planners, furniture and equipment vendors, movers, furniture installers, property managers, and local code enforcement officers.
* Coordinates with Managers and Employees to schedule construction and maintenance projects and communicate plans which results in a smooth transition and minimal disruption of business.
* Supervises the day-to-day activities of staff.
* Provides leadership, direction, vision, and opportunities for skill development.
* Sets schedules, assigns work, monitors employee's attendance and performance.
* Writes and delivers performance evaluations.
* Manages the implementation of and ongoing management of various recycling programs.
* Responsible for raising employee awareness of recycling and reducing waste by facilitating employee recycling efforts.
* Works with cleaning vendor to insure consistent compliance of program.
* Participates and contributes to the development of the International facilities department by assisting in seeking new opportunities for expanding the services offered.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* ‎3-‎5 years experience in a facilities or office services role.
* Should possess superior English written and spoken communication skills and be adept at interfacing with all employee levels in a corporate environment.
* Strong analytical, interpersonal and administrative skills.
* Action-oriented and able to respond to urgent demands.
* Demonstrated ability to act independently in crisis situations.
* Must have excellent planning and organizational ability and be able to juggle multiple concurrent priorities.
* Ability to identify process needs and build solutions.
* Should be practiced at vendor and contract negotiations.
* Must be able to work and think independently in resolving challenging issues.
