Project Overview:
Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion
teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently
estimated at ‎94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani
General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is
responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as
electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system.
Riyadh 's population of nearly ‎6 million is forecast to increase to ‎8 million
by ‎2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population
while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
* Mechanical engineer with +‎4 years ' experience in buildings and infrastructure projects in KSA.
* Designing mechanical systems of HVAC, Plumbing & Fire fighting, including drawings, calculations, and all other engineering documents.
* Coordinating the engineering activity pertaining to technical data base with entire project teams of engineering, construction, procurement, field engineering, and also, coordinating with Suppliers and Sub-contractors to ensure receiving complete information and finalizing the technical data base.
* Having technical responsibilities to reviews project engineering documents, material selection, shop drawings, specification, calculations against the project requirement and tender documents
* Demonstrated knowledge in mechanical techniques, procedures, and in all relevant local / international codes and standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
* Preparing a Technical Data Base (TDB) containing all technical information related to the MEP Systems that is useful for initializing a Maintenance Management Information System with user friendly HMI and easy tools to configure, adapt and change, as well as to extract information files.
* Preparing Product Breakdown Structure (PBS) of the MEP Systems with list of all parts, part numbers, main description of the parts, and father-children 's relationships between parts, delivery time, spare parts , reliability (MTBF), Turn around time for repair, required quantity; etc.
* Listing of all types of MEP equipment's spare parts with part number, authorized version numbers, quantity installed in the System, quantity in the stock, storage location in the warehouses, dimensions, weight, authorized supplier, authorized repairer, delivery times, turnaround times for repair, span life and reliability
* Preparing Asset Tagging / Configurations with Manufacturer item / part number, serial number, reference drawings , reference operation and maintenance manual; etc.
* Reviewing project engineering documents, material selection, IFC drawings, Shop drawings , As-Built Drawings, Specifications, Calculations against the project requirement and incorporating all these details in the TDB.
* Providing technical and engineering support for all issues related to project technical data base and asset naming convention issues and responding to technical queries raised by Construction , Testing and Commissioning and Subcontractors.
* Working with senior engineers to develop alternatives and options to solve and close the technical issues.
* Oversighting and interfacing for integrating the various engineering and systems engineering necessary to achieve the performance requirements

JOB KNOWLEDGE:
* Technical knowledge of related engineering systems, engineering calculations, applications of engineering and construction methods and materials, and engineering application of computers.
* Proficient knowledge of project engineering processes and procedures, like preparing / reviewing method statement, material approval requests, material suppliers documents, operation and maintenance manuals, filed change documents, technical queries, non-conference reports, shop drawing, redline drawings, as built drawings, and all related engineering documents.
* Proficient knowledge on application and coordination of BIM (Revit, Navisworks) and ‎2-D and/or ‎3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design processes on a project and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to MEP building.
* Skill in oral and written communication.
* Demonstrated skill in supervision.
* Competent attitude and well performing while working under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
* ‎3-‎5 years ' experience in a Mechanical Engineering Position.
* Preferred experienced in Technical Data Base and Maximo (Asset Management Software.)
