Job Purpose

The F&B; General Assistant supports the operation with basic service, logistic
and stocking duties to ensure that the F&B; service points are properly
prepared, well maintained, stocked, clean and hygienic. The GA ensures all
dining areas are well cleaned and tidy at all times. GAs are likely to work
across various outlets (Front and Back of House), the work will be varied and
candidates are expected to show initiative.

Duties and responsibilities

 Carry out opening and closing procedures according to the checklist provided
 Setting up service points and service equipment
Deliver food and beverage from kitchen to serving points
 Assisting with serving of food at service points
 Having good knowledge of food and beverage being served
 Clearing, cleaning tables and resetting furniture as per the floor plan
 Polishing cutlery, crockery and glassware
 Restock the service stations thought the shift
 Carrying out any other duties as required by the management
 Following food safety procedures
 Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with
guests
 Following all company processes and procedures
 Representing the company to highest standards possible and always striving
for perfection

Work Experience

 Minimum ‎1 years’ hospitality industry experience
 Working is similar catering operations

Skills Required

 Very good spoken English, moderate – high written English ability
Well presented
 Hands on, hard working in a physical environment
 Ability to have positive interactions with customers
 Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
 Excellent customer service skills
 Good communicator and team player

Qualifications

 Diploma, undergraduate or graduate certificate is preferred
