Job Purpose

The Food Safety and Quality Assurance Supervisors will work with the
operational teams to ensure that all Policy and Procedures are correctly
followed and that management of standards, information, reporting and
corrective action is completed consistently.

Duties and responsibilities

Responsible for Food Safety management from procurement thru to point of
service
Be hands on in monitoring and preparing food safety records
Implement and manage HACCP certification
Ensure all necessary FS training and training records are in place
Undertake weekly and monthly FS audit plans
Support nutrition and labelling information requriements
Carry out FS investigations and issue reports when required
Support environmental and sustainability initiatives and carry out CSR audit
and report requirements
Carry out QMS audits and reporting

Experience and attributes required:

‎2 years in similar role essential
* Experience of ISO ‎9000 and ISO ‎14001 prefered
* Local industry knowledge and relationships essential
* Highly organized and willing to apply additional effort and time when required
* Ability to motivate mixed teams, empower and lead others, utilise varying styles to manage up and down
* Strong administration ability
* Excellent manner - clearly spoken and strong written communication
* Absolute discretion and confidentiality
* Self-motivated, strong ability to prioritise workload, work with others and alone
* Absolutely dependable and reliable to fit into a strong team who rely upon each other
* Resilient and highly resourceful

Qualification and Skills

Certification in advanced Food Safety essential
Food Safety trainer award preferred
