Finance and Regulatory Data Expert

Project Description

A reputed bank from Saudi is looking for some Data Management roles and
Treasury Data Expert (on the data and reporting side, not on the application
side.

Responsibilities

• Presenting as well as explain financial data (e.g., investment and financial plans).


• Recommending, designing and monitoring short-term as well as long-term financial and investment strategies.


• Use financial management knowledge to evaluate current accounting trends, prepare budget reports and perform a cost analysis.


• Maintain data in information systems or databases.


• Need to advise others on regulatory and compliance matters.


• Ensuring compliance with regulations.


• Communicate and provide guidance to Business Units on regulatory reporting requirements and completion of reporting templates


• Assist in the amendment, enhancement and/or application of the region's liquidity risk management policy and contingency funding plan


• Accounting for the various products in the Private Banking world - vanilla to complex derivatives deposits, loans


• Coordinate the collection of regulatory reporting data and validate for accuracy and completeness on a timely, efficient and accurate basis


• Lead finance regulatory projects with the specifications and requirements pertaining to the systems development that is required for regulatory reports automation


• Review reconciliation of all accounts in the finance department

Skills

Must have
* ‎5+ years for relevant experience
* Good knowledge of Banking finance
* Hands on experience implementation of related business applications. SAMA regulations, IFRS9, GL, Budgeting
* candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, Professional certification (e.g., CPA or CFA)
* Should be able to effectively use financial management knowledge to evaluate current accounting trends, prepare budget reports and perform a cost analysis.
Nice to have
* Sound knowledge of all accounting and financial principles.
