Develops and oversees activities and staff within the ERP Business
Applications Department, remains informed about new IT developments and
evolving business requirements, supporting procurement and managing the
implementation, changes and deployment of business-centric (back-end support
functions) applications based on user needs, and for recommending appropriate
systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems; also, oversees
the Level 3 maintenance and support function of the ERP Business Application
Section. To ensures that the application-based solutions of the ERP Business
Application satisfy the needs of the business as a whole, and of individual
clients. Responsible for addressing employee engagement and retention in the
ERP Business Applications Section and for developing staff in HITA.
1.Remains informed of new IT developments and evolving business requirements
pertaining to ERP Business Applications and recommend system alternatives
and/or enhancements to current systems.
2.Leads business applications initiatives that support business operations and
enhance business operations through business applications.
3.Oversees the Level 3 maintenance and supports function of the ERP Business
Application Section and ensure that end-users ' needs are being met.
4.Provides vendor management support to IT Administration for ERP Business
Applications including providing technical guidance on RFPs, assisting with
vendor selection, and managing SLAs.
5.Oversees enhancement projects and ensure that the solutions developed meet
the requirements of all business and functional units in scope.
6.Oversees unit, functional, performance, and user acceptance testing (if
applicable) and user sign-off.
7.Defines application integration needs
8.Understands activities associated with the development, scripting,
configuring or customizing of application modules
9.Establish and maintain user requirement documents, amendments, and user
acceptance criteria for applications.
10.Address employee engagement and retention in the ERP Business Application
Section and develop people in HITA.
11.Manage and develop the performance of ERP Business Application staff
through performance management, counselling, motivating, training and
development and orientation of new employees.
12.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing
environment.
13.Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as
applicable.
14.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
15.Performs other related duties as assigned.
PhD, Master 's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a
related discipline is required.
Four (4) years of related experience including three (3) years in a
supervisory position with PhD, seven (7) years of similar qualifications with
Master 's Degree, or nine (9) years of similar qualifications with Bachelor's
Degree is required.
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
