Description
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Team Leader in carrying out all level of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and minor modifications in depot equipment 's.
* Carry out routine inspections, unscheduled maintenance, inspecting parts for surface defects, changing of consumable items, perform minor repairs and technical cleaning of all the depot equipment.
* Perform time sensitive fault diagnostics and component replacement on the depot equipment's & track cleaning vehicles.
* Follow the appropriate maintenance procedures and instructions, operating rules and procedures to ensure compliance with the Maintenance requirements.
* Produce and maintain accurate maintenance records of all depot equipment's, tool and work accomplished and other information using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
* Assist Track Supervisor in ensuring only tools and special equipment that are calibrated and in date, are used for maintenance
* Implement and follow Permit To Work process as per FLOW PTW Procedure
* Perform shift and emergency duties as and when required.
* Perform roles necessary for the management of the safe system of works, ensuring a safety culture.
* Assist and maintain good relationship with the external services personnel during the depot equipment maintenance.
* Assist Team Leader in ensuring the timely calibration of all applicable DEQ special tools and equipment and maintaining availability of calibration certificates as and when required.
* Uphold Safety practices at all times in accordance with company procedures.
* Implement a culture of continuous improvement in maintenance delivery.
Skills / Experiences:
* 2 years of experience in maintenance of the depot equipment in railway industry.
* Should be completely aware of the interference & consequences of a failure in the depot equipment's in a metro system.
* Ability to write simple technical reports, routine business correspondence, prepare method statements and drawings as required
* Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Education:
* Minimum vocational trade certificate or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.
