Careem Food is one the fastest growing verticals within Careem working
alongside thousands of peoples ' everyday favorite brands. We're rapidly
expanding across the region and constantly looking to deliver world class

What you'll do

Saudi Arabia is one of the most strategic markets for Careem, with presence
across all core cities in Ride Hailing and a growing coverage of our Food
delivery service. Careem 's Super App journey is at its beginning in KSA with
a massive opportunity to serve market needs, and we're looking for someone to
lead the Food business for Careem in KSA.
Key responsibilities
* Developing the market vision and strategy to pave the path for exponential growth of Careem's Food business in KSA
* Overseeing and managing the market performance and day-to-day operations including building selection, enhancing experience, and growing restaurant partners' business on Careem
* Managing and owning the P&L for the country setting direction, budget allocations, and forecasts and plans at an annual, quarterly, and monthly level
* Setting policies and processes for the business in the market
* Building key relationships internally and with market stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and vendors to establish a thriving business

What you'll need

The ideal candidate will have a passionate commitment to leading and growing
an exceptional Food tech business in a Super App ecosystem in Saudi Arabia. We
're looking for someone with an insane focus on excellence and customer
service, a strong sense of curiosity and urgency to get things done, a bias
for action and excitement for problem solving and getting hands dirty where
needed, and a clear alignment with our core values: ownership, being of
service and shooting to the moon. Key qualifications include:
* Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role with P&L responsibility
* KSA market experience and understanding; experience in consumer-facing business
* ‎12+ years of experience
* Outstanding organizational and leadership skills; excitement for building and growing teams
