Project Manager

Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects to
ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. They will
lead and manage enterprise software projects from kick-off to go-live
(including initiation, scoping, planning and closure with lessons learned)
directly into customers. It is imperative that the hands on role takes full
responsibility for the project delivery by managing customer expectations and
internal stakeholders, proactively anticipating issues and managing changes as
required. A key activity for this role will be in defining the project success
criteria and then setting and continually leading project expectations to all
stakeholders.
Job Description:
Project Delivery
* Project management and co-ordination of new implementation projects and client upgrades including developing Project Plans and Gantt Charts; Monitoring, updating and reporting on progress internally and to clients; Monitoring of status of project related tickets (support issues and/or enhancements); providing written reports as required and management of project risks and issues.
* Identify and manage project resources and assign individual responsibilities to project task.
* Hold regular status meetings with customers and key stakeholders on resources, project scope, scope changes, additional services and go live activities.
* Proactively manage changes in project scope and charge customers appropriately, identify potential issues and risk, and devise contingency plans to get the project back on track
* Assure project legal documents are completed and signed.
* Liaising between the client and consultants.
* Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project including:
* Lead the project kick off, planning session, progress review and status meetings.
* Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
* Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
* Provide overall quality assurance for all deliverables
* Organise planning for testing and training, and facilitate training assignments.
* Provide overall risk management and mitigation including minimising Trapeze's exposure and risk on the project.
* Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
* Identify project value "add-on" opportunities as they relate to a specific project and share internally with key stakeholders to identify low impact to the project (change order) or an opportunity to save for post project sales.
* Taking full responsibility of project signoff.
Project Accounting
* Accurately forecast revenue, utilization and manage project budget.
* Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and monitoring receivables for projects, including following up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
* Analyze project profitability, revenue, bill rates and utilization.
* Track and report team hours and expenses on a monthly basis.
Manage Clients and Key Stakeholder Relationships
* Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
* Set and manage client expectations and manage day-to-day client interaction.
* Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
* Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
* Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization and objectives.
Education and Experience
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Software Development, Project Management or IT or an equivalent level of experience in a related role especially Transport sector will ass a value.
* Minimum five (‎5) years' experience in product implementation, project management in software development, service delivery or similar with a proven track record in both service delivery and people management in an IT services environment; including demonstrated team leadership, motivating individuals and/or teams to excel (in delivery and in quality) whilst ensuring excellent service delivery is provided to all clients.
* Experience with client engagements and working on technical projects at a high-level.
* Strong financial and commercial skills and experience dealing with clients of all sizes, including the ability to manage expectations across multiple levels of the customer organization with experience in managing budgets (basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-complete projections) applying governance and developing processes.
* Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary project management methodologies with understanding and applying a disciplined process approach to projects and driving continuous value of products and solutions.
* Experience in effectively implementing process improvement initiatives.
* Understanding of software applications, database organization, and system design.
* Experience working with government clients would be advantageous.
* Experience in delivering CCTV projects for government agencies is a must
* Understanding high level technical CCTV concepts and latest technologies (HW and SW)

Travel
* The position may involve occasional domestic travel within Saudi Arabia and overseas.
* All air travel is economy class.
