Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to drive operating and transformational
productivity across GCC Foods businesses, in manufacturing plants, in
Distribution centres, in Go-To-Market systems, and across all P &L lines
through (1) Deploying PepsiCo's Best Practices and Proven Techniques on
Productivity, (2) Lifting and Shifting Productivity Ideas across the BU by
working closely with the Region/sector Productivity team & counterparts across
other regions(3) and Delivering over $5MM in Total System Productivity every
year. The incumbent should deliver at least $1MM per year from personally
facilitated projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead roll-out of PepsiCo Best Practices and Tools on Productivity.
* Own GCCF BU LSS approach including alignment of priorities, maintaining project pipeline, capability building plan, and the execution governance
* Facilitate Lean 6 σ (LSS) and TPM sessions to Senior Management and Middle Management to help facilitate and identify productivity opportunities.
* Work closely with Finance Planning and ensure Global Corporate guidelines and definitions are rolled-out to the businesses consistently.
* Conduct training and ensure all businesses are cross-calibrated, tracking all projects and reporting timely on progress. Co-facilitate roll-out of Power Steering to all businesses, and drive upgrades to meet requirements of businesses and financial reporting.
* Facilitate Productivity sessions across BUs to help identify and develop a pipeline of productivity ideas in support of I&GP and AOP.
* Maximize Lift and Shift opportunity, work closely with the field on developing field-ready tools sets
* Lead benchmarking exercises, internally within AMESA businesses and externally against other Regions/Sector and industry, to drive further transformational productivity
* Lead Productivity planning process, challenge and stretch businesses to meet and/ or exceed corporate guidelines on Compressible Productivity.
* Co-lead development and reporting of BU Performance scorecard, action plans, etc… and drive development of tools to support improvement in key opportunity areas.
* Work closely with Region/Sector/Global Productivity Leads, Consultants, and drive alignment with the different stakeholders, securing funding and resources.
* Should be a PMO (Project Mgmts. Officer) for the BU Productivity Council and align local processes and tools to comply with Global direction.
* Co-lead development of Best Practices and Tools to support Productivity process. Align Global and Local teams; secure funding for development, pilot and roll-out.
* To implement, sustain and participate in the continual improvement of the OH&S Management System (MS) at area of responsibility in accordance with the legislations, PepsiCo GEHSMS and relevant EHS standards
* Ensuring proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with all activities/areas are in place and OH&S targets are achieved.
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years ' experience in FMCG manufacturing and supply chain, field, and central roles.
* Thorough knowledge of LSS and TPM approaches with working experience in this field, LSS Black Belt certification is a must for this role.
* Extensive leadership experience and capability. Solid understanding of business levers.
* Go-To-Person on Productivity Process, and Best Practices around Driving Productivity.
* Significant change management experience. Highly analytical.
* Ability to work cross-functionally, cross-geographically and across multiple cultures.
* Strong internal and external communicator, influencer, and negotiator.
* Ability to set and prioritise short, med, and long-term objectives.
* Bachelor of Engineering / Science subject.
