The Position
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating logistics
and customer service activities for Novo Nordisk Saudi Arabia and for ensuring
efficient execution of deliveries of Novo Nordisk products to several
customers. Key tasks will be order handling and generating shipping documents
with the customer as your focus. To solve these tasks, you will have to
coordinate and collaborate with many internal and external stakeholders.
Order handling by Placing orders in SAP and handling order logistics till the
arrival to Saudi Arabia and Focusing on tracking the continuous improvement of
logistics performance (e.g., lead times)
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Shipping of products to Saudi and preparing a monthly shipping plan.
• Grant timely import permission for SFDA for Novo Nordisk Saudi shipments and
ensure fulfilling all authorities' requirements in terms of importing
pharmaceutical products.
• Archiving of shipping documents by ensuring a proper way of archiving
shipping documents and bayan number and ensuring the readiness of Novo Nordisk
to audits.
• Stock entry and proof of delivery by ensuring timely execution of stock
entry and proper documentation of PODs received from Novo Nordisk warehouse
team for imported shipments, Track and trace system reporting.
• Customer service by placing sales orders and delivery notes to Novo Nordisk
Saudi warehouse team and issues sales invoices to customers.
Qualifications
We are expecting you to hold a Bachelor of Business administration, Economics,
Accounting, or any other relevant field and the below skills and knowledge:
* 1-2 years of experience in Pharma Supply Chain field or other industry.
* SAP experience is preferable.
* Fluent in English (reading and writing).
* Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
* Very good communication and analytical skills.
About the Department
The Supply chain function is a dynamic and expanding function in Novo Nordisk
Saudi Arabia with the increased scope of business.
Our key focus area includes but is not limited to Demand/supply fulfilment
activities, procurement of pharmaceutical products, Logistics & customer
service and we have a local contract manufacturing where a third-party company
is performing secondary packaging of some of our products.
We play an active role in the planning & execution of affiliate anchor budget,
and we support other functions to ensure product availability in Saudi.
