The Teaching Assistant assists faculty members in and outside the classrooms.
The teaching assistant sets up equipment, distributes supplies, operates
demonstration machines, copies classroom materials, assists the students
individually or in small groups, maintains files and records, distributes
books, organizes the classrooms, and arranges displays. Other duties include
reviewing material to students, assisting teachers and students during
scheduled class periods, including assisting with homework problems and
helping proctor tests and quizzes, and troubleshooting problems during lab
sessions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in relevant field.
