Director of Business Continuity Management (Ri-SA-G8)

Management Team. This team act as the guardians of Tap Payments and our

You will lead the group function for business continuity planning building a
centre of excellence for all operational risk issues across the group, working
closely with the country risk managers, risk team and head of risk to define
the policies, processes and procedures for the group.

As a Tapster You Will:
* Establishment and implementation of DR and BCP
* Conducts business impact analyses for each business segment to determine critical business processes, identify justify recovery time periods and establish recovery resource requirements.
* Conducts risk assessments for various departments, functions, and critical technology assets, analysing potential business impact of business interruptions
* Coordinates incident and crisis management
* Responsible for risk, controls, and compliance management of BCP/DR
* Supporting BCP/DR audit and examination activities
* Development of policies & procedures aligned with the regulations and best practices
* Facilitates records management and archiving
* Assessment of all interruption incidents and recommend recovery strategies and assist with the implementation of the recovery solutions.
* Participates in assessment of new products and services with product teams, provides guidance for the documentation and requirements of BCP/DR
* Develops and provides staff training on business continuity and disaster recovery.
* Establishes and coordinate business recovery testing methodologies
* Executes exercises of internal BCP to validate adequacy of plans with required training.
* Prepares reports on the business recovery readiness and communicate the results of BCP and DR tests.
* Additional responsibilities as designated by the manager

What You Bring to the Party:
* Minimum overall ‎10 years of experience in financial industry with at least ‎5 years of technology experience knowledge to support recovery strategy design and testing.
* Minimum of ‎5 years of experience with Disaster Recovery environments testing process improvements.
* Certified Business Continuity Professional CBCP certification.
* Fair knowledge of financial products with focus on ecommerce.
* Knowledge of risk assessment and business impact analysis methodologies.
* Highly effective facilitator of cross functional teams.
* Must be able to perform critiques of written plans, facilitate table top training exercises, and direct a variety of simulation exercises.
* Ability to analyse problems and develop and implement effective solutions.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Ability to develop and execute project plans while simultaneously managing multiple tasks.
* Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
* Excellent leadership and management skills
* Fluency in spoken and written English is essential
