Job description

Job Overview
EGIS is looking for a BIM/CAD operator who will be responsible for creation
and implementation of 2D drawings, sketches and Building Information Models
(BIM) for various assets within a Master planning project located in Riyadh.

Responsibilities
* Assist the BIM Manager and Project Delivery Team(s) in day to day BIM implementation activities
* Support the design and construction team with model visualizations
* Coordinate with Architecture, Structure, Finishing and other MEP and underground utilities services.
* Use BIM modeling software from Autodesk such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks
* Run interference detection and detect design clashes to assist project team with coordination process
* Assist the BIM manager in reviewing and Federating models
* Uses CAD and other computer assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks
* Ability to read construction, architecture and infrastructure drawings
* Prepare 2D & 3D design drawings and models for client/project team review
* Produce sketches using CAD software
* Communicate potential design issues to Senior Design Managers and Construction team.
* Prepare/draft and create and update existing drawings
* Create various 2D drawings following BIM manager and Design team instructions

Profile

Skills & Competencies
* Bachelor's degree with five years minimum experience working in a construction, engineering or architect role.
* BIM experience required
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Good oral communication
* Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
* Software experience with Navisworks, 2D and 3D AutoCAD and Revit
