Plans, organizes, supervises and directs the overall activities of non-
corrective Electrical Installations work, normal & essential power supply,
Installation of conduits, cable trays, boxes, pulling cables, circuit
breakers, electrical light fixtures/accessories, distribution panels boards,
evaluation, testing and commissioning of newly installed electrical
circuits/equipment prior to operation Monitoring and directs the overall
activities of Electrical Installation Section. Ensures the maximum level of
productivity and efficiency. Provides administrative and technical support to
the Department Head. Assists in implementing Hospital & Departmental Policies
& Procedures.
1. Plans and directs the implementation of the non-corrective Electrical
Installations works and reference memos requested by various Departments
hospital wide and approved by Engineering Design Development Dept. as per the
specifications and hospital standard including overall operational and
activities of Electrical Installations section in the most efficient and
professional manner.

2. Analyses, orders and determines required tools, equipment, supplies, parts
& manpower required to complete the job. Instructs all craftsmen regarding
procedures to be followed.

3. Supervises work in progress and assists with difficult or complicated
tasks. Reviews operational schedules, assignments and manpower requirement of
the section. Assures complete and safe isolation of the systems that enquire
repair, service or modification.

4. Prepares and maintains the section budget. Orders equipment/tools,
materials etc. requested in the annual estimated budget.

5. Coordinates with all concerned departments during implementation of the
requested new electrical installation works and prepares
material/cost/manpower estimates of required work for the Electrical
Installation section.

6. Evaluates the existing physical condition of all equipment/tools and
systems under Electrical Installation section and recommends for the necessary
replacement or upgrade.

7. Instructs and trains personnel. Evaluates employee performance and takes
action to correct deficiencies. Recommends personal actions such as: hiring,
promotion, disciplinary action and merit increase. Prepares leave schedules.
Completes all other related administrative work as required.
Master 's, Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or other related
discipline or, two (2) years Technical Diploma is required.
One (1) year of related experience with Master 's, three (3) years with
Bachelor's Degree ,or seven (7) years with Diploma is required.
