Senior Health & Safety Inspector

SNC Lavalin is currently looking for an experienced Senior Health & Safety
Inspector to join their team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should be able
manage all activities related to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
function and provide technical support in all issues related to QHSE and
ensure compliance with SNC GHSEMS, local regulations and Client Contractual
SLA & KPI's
Roles & Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, maintain and continually improve project Quality SOPs, Processes and guidelines with a true focus on adding value in business
* Manage all documented information as per ISO ‎9001 and All QMS system and approved processes
* Analyze processes to improve as needed
* Support operations in pre-qualification tendering and on-going performance measurement of suppliers and vendors
* Conduct 1st party internal and second party contractor's quality audits
* Support other projects and regional team on development of new processes
* Prepare quality reports on monthly basis for Sr. management
* Establish robust corrective action plan for any Non-conformity and conduct root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence
* Monitoring Quality Assurance over site/projects to ensure service delivery is met as per SLA & client requirement.
* To ensure hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control processes (Risk Register, Environmental Impact
* Register, JHA & StepBack) are proactively implemented and managed.
* To identify compliance obligations and monitor the same on a regular basis.
* Ensure SNC global and project specific objectives are proactively monitored and achieved.
* Conduct training need analysis and prepare training matrix for all level of employees. Ensure training plans are monitored and achieved.
* Conduct and lead project HSE meetings with internal teams, contactors and client to discuss project HSE challenges and opportunities for improvements.
* Ensure documented information is maintained and retained as per ISO and SNC Global HSEMS requirements.
* Ensure all operational process controls are implemented and managed effectively.
* Ensure emergency response plan is tested regularly for every potential emergency situation.
* Ensure project HSE performance is measured and monitored monthly and project HSE data is presented to management in numerical and graphical form.
* Conduct and lead incident investigation as per approved HSSE management procedure.
* Take promote actions on finding from inspections, self-audits, regional audits and site imminent dangers.
* Monthly management report submission in timely and accurate manner.
* Adherence to local, international regulations and SNC GHSEMS.
* Achieving ‎100% of Global HSE Objectives.
* Driven improvement and process changes over all process on site
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Engineering/HSE (or Equivalent)
* NEBOSH IGC Certificate - Mandatory
* ISO ‎9001/ ISO ‎45001/ ISO ‎14001 Lead or Internal Auditor
* ‎6+ years relevant experience in HSE preferably in Facility Management
