* As a hands-on leader, you'll closely monitor the progress of MEP installations and systems, making regular site visits to ensure work is on track and within the project schedule.
* You'll be instrumental in fostering collaboration among various MEP trades and other construction disciplines, resolving any clashes or conflicts that may arise in the field.
* Your skills will come into play as you evaluate and process changes and modifications to MEP systems, assessing their impact on the project's scope, schedule, and budget.
* You'll be the gatekeeper for materials, equipment, and MEP system submittals, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality requirements.
* Overseeing the testing and commissioning of MEP systems will be your responsibility, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently, and are ready for operation.
* With meticulous attention to detail, you'll maintain accurate records of all MEP-related activities, including reports, inspections, approvals, and any non-conformance issues. As challenges arise, you'll take the lead in identifying and addressing MEP-related problems, working with contractors to develop effective solutions.
* Safety is a paramount concern, and you'll ensure that all MEP work adheres to regulations and best practices, promoting a culture of safety on the construction site.
* You will maintain regular communication with the client or project owner, keeping them informed about the status of MEP systems, addressing concerns, and managing their expectations. Your ability to prepare and present progress reports to project management and stakeholders will be crucial, including highlighting any potential issues or deviations from the plan.
