POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Retail Skills Trainer for NYX Professional Makeup, you are embarking on
the journey of a fast-growing makeup brand, with a strong community of
advocates and so much to conquer! Your role is to support the NYX Brand
mission and drives sales through the development, knowledge, and skills of the
Retail BAs, across multiple channles through in-store education. This involves
having a postive attitide and drive to elevating the customer service,
artistry, product knowledge skills and sale skills of the Retail teams by
facilitating store trainings and follow up, reporting key performance
indicators and by reinforcing key messages from Trainings conducted by the
Education Manager.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* In-Store Support : Follow up on NYX Training fundamentals to ensure training initiatives are effectively translated into behaviors that support excellence in service, artistry and product knowledge. This includes in-store learning activities, driving learning on the Education IG platform, services & artistry development. Build and strengthen customer loyalty by demonstrating excellent service, selling and 5 star service experiences.
* Observation and Reporting : Observe store teams interactions with customer and provide frequent feedback on the job performance to the Retail Managers. Address identified development opportunities by cascading these needs to the Education Manager.
* Monthly Training Follow up: Actively follow up on all core trainings instore and monitor BA development through feedback and peer to peer learning to maximize results.
* Assist & Monitor IG Learning Tools: Assist Education Manager in monitoring and scheduling digital learnings with each team. Assess needs of each team member and assist with selection of relevant digital modules.
* Sell Through : Monitor Mix of Business and drive hero category sell through based on monthly focuses and marketing calendar shared via Education Manager.
* Dress Code & Brand Professional Standards: Adhere to and provide the example for NYX policies regarding customer expectations, dress code and makeup grooming standards to be impeccable.
* Competitor Analysis & awareness: Collect & feedback competitor information: product launch, animation, events & promotions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
* Must speak Arabic & English.
* Based in Riyadh or Jeddah.
* Must be enthusiastic about artistry and makeup.
* Specialist Education in Makeup Artistry or Equivalent experience from the makeup industry.
* Proven ability to provide guidance, instruction on product knowledge, makeup application and customer service skills. Ensure the demonstration of key launches during organized trainings.
* Proactively seeks ways to improve personal and organizational effectiveness to meet current and future business needs.
* Strong communication skills including public speaking, facilitation, and content creation. Participate in local events.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrate the ability to develop creative, challenging informative and fun ways to deliver educational information.
* Energizes and enables others through training and coaching new and seasoned Retail BAs.
