Project: This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports
stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering
the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead
teams throughout each phase of the project.
We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking Civil Engineering Lead to join
our established and growing team in Saudi Arabia.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing a team of civil engineers, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing feedback and guidance.
* Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects, including stadium infrastructure, roads, bridges, storm drainage, and buildings.
* Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure that the project meets their needs and expectations.
* Reviewing and approve design specifications, construction plans, and budget estimates.
* Preparing project reports, including status updates and progress reports.
* Ensuring that the project adheres to relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
* Demonstrates leadership and core competency in Civil Design as required to coordinate between a multi-disciplinary team for complex / fast track project delivery.
* Providing Design management team the required update / timely feedback to ensure a cohesive operational unit & ensure optimum use of team skills; monitoring work assignments against timelines, compliance with policies / processes; development / implementation of action plans to address performance gaps.
* Providing Leadership in the area of Design review to ensure required coordination between specialist discipline for timely design delivery.
* Working knowledge of current methodologies & tools related to manage / deliver design review part of EPMO.
* Abling to respond to design consultant / specialist discipline requests effectively & sensitively;
* Working closely with the Design manager, design consultant & internal specialist design discipline teams.
* Reviewing overall Design status with the design management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
