About the Opportunity:
Robust infrastructure establishes the backbone of productive, economically
strong communities as assets essential to commerce, trade, public safety and
quality of life.
Due to our continued growth in the region Jacobs are hiring a Senior Road Lead
in Riyadh. You would be involved in a wide variety of engineering tasks on a
major infrastructure project in the city.
We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly
flexible, team-oriented environments and who have exceptional communication,
analytical and leadership skills. Responsibilities include:
* Independently oversee the planning, design, construction, commissioning and handover of all highway/road and related civil projects associated with this programme.
* Assist with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders
* Ensuring the accurate preparation of feasibility studies, technical reports, detailed designs, and production of contract documents
* Help seek innovative solutions in achieving the best value in delivering our services.
* Overseeing the coordinated technical delivery, reporting and associated governance of the programme
* Implement improvement measures and share good practice as applicable.
Here 's What You'll Need:
* Prior experience in the successful delivery of complex highway/road and related civil design and construction projects in the Middle East
* Experience working within a construction supervision environment
* Technical design experience gained in the transportation/infrastructure sector
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of appropriate codes and standards and accepted practices from a consultancy or equivalent road agency
* It is desirable to be a member of a relevant professional institution with a sound understanding of engineering management principles and application in a highway's environment.
* You will preferably have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil/Roads engineering (or equivalent Degree)
* Be able to reside in Riyadh
