The opportunity
Project: This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in
Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development
including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated
infrastructure.
Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced
professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Reporting to the senior finance manager or other project managers as required.
* Supporting in managing Mace time sheets.
* Supporting in collation of high-quality invoice submissions and supporting documentation packs for monthly invoicing.
* Supporting in the preparation of Mace PAFs (personnel approval forms) including updates as required.
* Supporting in the preparation of Mace NTPs (notice to proceed) including updates and changes as required.
* Administering Oracle project module in relation to sub-consultant payments, project expenses, etc.
* Conferring with the payables team to ensure timely payments to consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and supplier bills while ensuring compliance with internal procurement policies and processes.
* Conferring with the receivables team to ensure timely issuance of billing to clients and compliance with local requirements.
* Being familiar with local tax (VAT, WHT, Corporation tax) and liaising with tax agents as and when required.
* Reinforcing financial data confidentiality and conducting database backups when necessary.
* Complying with financial policies and regulations.
* Performing other accounting and finance-related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
About you
You have work experience as an accountant, excellent knowledge of accounting
regulations and procedures, advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and
pivot tables, experience with general ledger functions, strong attention to
detail and good analytical skills, BSc in accounting, finance or relevant
degree, strong communication skills.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and be part
of strong, motivated teams. You must have experience in programme or project
management equating quality and value with the individual client and be hungry
