Scope:
Reporting to:
* Head of Trade Finance Unit
Products and services:
Short term transactions (up to one year), funded and unfunded, bilateral, and
transactional
* Commodity financings such as prepayments, pre-export financings, inventory financings, warehouse receipt financings, tolling financings, borrowing bases etc.
* Revolving Credit Facilities
Commodities:
* Crude oil, gas, petroleum products, metals, carbon offsets
Clients:
* Priority to top ten energy commodity traders in the world and largest energy commodity traders from MENA
* Synergies with clients in Project Finance
Requirements:
* Good banking network and relationship, particularly for syndication purposes
* Trained in a bank with a strong trade finance arm, or in a trading house focusing on energy commodities
* Good understanding of trade flows and trading operations
* Hedging/derivatives basic understanding
* Good risk assessment: Performance, Credit, Country
* Strong Financial analysis capabilities
* Ability to review legal documentation and draft term sheets.
