Forecast and Plan

• Periodically review & analyse the short, medium, and long-term manpower, training, & budget requirements relative to budgeted and modified flight schedule from Network Planning


• Plan, generate, and publish crew pairings and crew rosters.


• Manage the crew member's relevant data in the crew management system.


• Arrange logistical support for crew members on duty assignments, e.g., deadhead tickets, accommodation & transportation arrangement etc.


• Identify, review, analyse, and communicate:


• Crew entry requirements to international destinations


• Crew annual leave, requests, training, and off days plan

Comply to policies and regulations

• Review and validate, crew data including qualifications.


• Analyse and Validate crew pairings and crew rosters.


• Perform periodic rules & reports audit of the crew management system in coordination with Crew Planning and Control management.


• Assist during periodic internal and external audit activities.

Budget and cost control

• Innovate strategies and calibrate plans to reduce cost variance in utilization among fully available crew members.


• Perform periodic review of crew pairings to address issue causing design affecting OTP.


• Align resources distribution while clearing annual leave balances and completing trainings.

Report & communicate

• Publish regular reports to clients.


• Notify crew members about plan and modification on annual leave and training slots.


• Report to IT Dept. any crew management system issue.


• Perform any other tasks as maybe assigned by superiors in the Department and Flight Operations Management, i.e., COO, VPFO, Chief Pilot, Fleet Manager.

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Experience

• Highly experienced with minimum Crew Control level in Crew Planning and Control environment performed in the last ‎2 years including usage of crew management system.


• Must be proficient in speaking and writing in English


• Must understand airline operations' business and systems inter-relationships

Education
and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate Certificate or Diploma in IT, Aviation related preferred. Combination of other education & certificate field, and at least ‎1 year of direct work experience as Crew Planner maybe considered.

Job related Skills

• In-dept knowledge of crew management system like building crew pairings & rosters, managing crew control, e.g. AIMS, Jeppesen, etc.


• Proficient in MS Productivity Tools (Word, Excel, PP, Outlook)


• High degree of resources planning ability and inter-departmental communication


• Strong organizational and analytical ability


• Effective communicator for system related improvements


• High level of professional maturity
