Your Impact:

goods. We're seeking a Project Director - Ports, to help oversee the complex
and the everyday project tasks for a variety of clients. This role will help
you grow your career, but also grow client relationships and business
development opportunities for Jacobs.
Based in Riyadh, you'll have an opportunity to work on projects across the
state with the support of a global team. By developing detailed scopes,
reports and schedules, you'll help our teams achieve our client's objectives.
You will be responsible for managing as Project Director, (as well as Project
Manager for large scale multidisciplinary projects) the execution of a
portfolio of projects. You will be a key part of our management team and will
be heavily involved leading our design and construction projects. In addition,
your duties will be to:
* Promote culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement for integration of solutions resources, value creation, return on investment, and profit optimization by contributing to go/no go decisions, resource allocation, lessons learned capture, and adoption of technical best practices.
* Establishment of project-specific execution frameworks to ensure that safety, quality, value, time and profitability are achieved.
* Ensure appropriate staffing and technical leadership to your portfolio of projects.
* Coordinate and manage the work of the technical team and project services teams to meet the project targets.
* Manage Client's and stakeholders' requirements and expectations. Manage subconsultants and contractors.
* Contract management and financial and risk management with timely implementation of mitigation measures and regular reporting to the Manager of Projects and the Operations Lead.
* Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the business unit's project delivery and execution strategies.
* Contribute to increase the utilization of our Global Design Centres.
* Support the Technical Director to develop and drive innovation and marketing initiatives.
* Collaborate and actively participate in client engagement and business development opportunities in pursuit of future work for the business.
Here 's What You'll Need:

As a successful candidate you will have a degree in Engineering or equivalent
and will have proven experience as a technical professional on projects. You
will also possess: -
* Experience of leading and successfully delivering large scale multi-disciplinary projects across the Middle East. You will have delivered such projects across the full life cycle, taking a project from concept design, through detailed design, construction supervision to project handover.
* Experience of successfully managing clients, stakeholders and contractors being able to engage, inspire and motivate to get the best results and ultimately deliver in line with stakeholder expectations.
