- Inspects, troubleshooting, repairs, adjusts, and maintains ground support
equipment used in direct aircraft support and overseeing support equipment
maintenance activities
1. Perform scheduled maintenance on all energy-related powered and non-
powered equipment lifetime
2. Troubleshoot and implement repairs at all powered and non-powered ages
3. Implement corrosion control measures on all ground support equipment
4. Provide receipt and delivery of ground support equipment to support flight
line maintenance
6. Perform preventative maintenance to avoid operational failures of systems
7. Make sure all equipment is serviceable at all times and ready to support
any requirement
8. May drive and operate floodlight trucks at crashes or other emergencies
9. May place warning flares about airfield during a power failure or
emergency
10. May be on constant call to make emergency repairs
