- Inspects, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining ground
support equipment used in direct aircraft support and overseeing support
equipment maintenance activities.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on all energy-related and powered equipment
lifetime.
- Troubleshoot and implement repairs at all powered and non-powered ages.
- Provide receipt and delivery of ground support equipment to support flight
line maintenance.
- He excels at preserving technical orders and publications.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and complete preventative maintenance on Ground
Service Equipment (both motorized and non-motorized)
- Work will include diagnostic testing and repair of gas engines,
transmissions, suspension, and brake systems
- Troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines, heavy industrial equipment,
including large aircraft air conditioners, air start, and ground electrical
power units
- May drive and operate floodlight trucks at crashes or other emergencies.
- May place warning flares about airfield during a power failure or
emergency.
- May be on constant call to make emergency repairs.
- Must follow the airport policies and procedures.
