Production and Productivity
* Develop and monitor manufacturing processes and advises on tool correction to give manufacturing a larger operating window and practice scientific molding principles
* Performs product change over and ensures that all necessary mechanical adjustments are completed in defined timeframes
* Performs start-up and process parameter adjustments until the QA approval/line clearance
* Maintains good and continuous communication with Mould Change Over Leader, Maintenance and Shift Supervisor
* Controls the material situation in production
* Troubleshoots in case of mechanical or process issues and performs all necessary mechanical adjustments
* Performs trials for new preform and accessories needed for production processes
* Ensure CTO production & material modules are followed
Product Quality
* Evaluates processes to update and improve quality while maintaining safety & productivity at the highest levels
* He must adjust the machine after a change over until the article reaches the required quality requirements
* Performs frequent visual inspection and makes sure that the quality is within specifications
* Ensures that the parameters, water temperature and flow, air pressure etc. are accurately within the tolerances
Safety awareness
* Ensures safe working practices are being followed and accidents, hazards and property damage are reported in the required time
* Ensures 5S procedures and activities are followed as per SOPs
* Ensures that safety procedures are being followed
Education/ Professional Qualifications
* High School Diploma or 2 years technical degree.
Experience
* Knowledge of plastics blow molding or injection molding equipment, processes and control systems.
* Required are at least three years of hands-on experience in blow or injection molding, setups, troubleshooting and process improvement
Qualifications/ Skills/ Personal Competencies
* Intermediate knowledge of MS Office
* Basic Toolmaking, Mechanical or Electric/Electronic knowledge
* Must be able to communicate with others in English language
