TPI Inspector

Job Description
A number of exciting opportunities have a risen for experienced TPI Inspectors
to join us here a Fugro.
The role -
Under general supervision, applies skills and knowledge to determine degree of
conformance of materials, equipment and installation of materials and
equipment asper Client specifications. Performs inspection of various project
activities; generates reports of conditions found during inspection
activities; Notifies management of significant problems; Completes
documentation to attest to satisfactory completion of Vendor inspection or
test activities. Responsible for maintaining a strong collaborative
partnership with cross-functional team members that facilitates organizational
success by safety and meeting business needs .Ensuring all the inspection
activities are in compliance with company SAIC, SATIP, IMS, SAC and relevant
ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities -
Quality
* To ensure that the Quality Control plans and documents as per company's expectation are implemented and followed; Implementation of the quality system throughout the organization in accordance with ISO ‎9001, ‎14001,45001,‎17020 & ‎17025.
* Witnessing Fit up & Marking Details, Alignment, Joint Configuration, and Dimension as per API650,Welding consumables - Selection of consumables, Consumable properties as per API650 & Specs, Weld Inspection - Weld size, Weld finish & Surface condition, Weld Parameters, Completeness, Random witness Dimensional Inspection performed for Blow down and Flash tanks API650 & Drawg, Final Inspection - Over all dimension, Physical appearance, Match marking & Orientation Mark,
* Identification Marking API650 & Drawings , Inspection for Tank Roundness. Inspection for Tank Peaking & Banding, Interpretation of Radiographic films, Witnessing all NDE examinations, Profile Check for Surface Preparation, Dry Film Thickness (D.F.T.) Check for Coating, Conducting and witnessing of Pneumatic Test, Hydro test, Holyday Test etc, Responsible for making all QC Documentations, Witnessing Visual Inspection and DFT Checks of Primer, Intermittent and Finished Coat , Witnessing Holiday / Continuity Test at internal Coating as per Project Specific Requirements.
* Implement an Integrated Management System (IMS) to integrate Quality, Environmental and HSE Management systems.
Planning
* Plan and perform periodic internal audits (Process and Technical) to assess the status of deployment of system to formulate corrective and preventive action for any non-conforming aspects, and to conduct follow-ups assessments on the resolution of these non-conformities.
Audit
* To plan and perform regular internal audits of laboratory procedures including tests, inspection activities , internal calibration and all other aspects of the quality system as and when required.
Evaluation
* Prepare and maintain the list of approved supplier/sub-contractor after conducting supplier/sub-contractor evaluation.
Coordination
* Co-ordinating with the Vendor Inspection activities asper QM's.
Experience & Knowledge
* ‎3 - ‎8 years working experience, with at least ‎5 years of work experience in activities related to QA/QC (experience in Mechanical/API/NDT Environment preferred)
* Excellent communication skills in English
* Licence/ Certification - AWS/CSWIP, BGAS/NACE, API - ‎510 , ‎570 and ‎653, LEEA - General and Part ‎2, CBT Pass Welding / Painting
