Planner- Tamheer Trainee

Job Duties:
* Participate in EHS, process improvements, and quality improvement programs.
* Monitor and control WIP Cycle times and transaction discipline to ensure on time delivery to customers.
* Collaborate on OSP material requests with buyers and inventory coordinators.
* Maintain & report all information for status of materials on Daily basis.
* Responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
* Data entry and maintenance of MRP database for accurate Load-Capacity planning.
* Coordinates with purchasing the availability of materials to meet customer and work order requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, vendors and other departments regarding problem resolution.
* Take responsibility for actions & outcomes and persist despite obstacles.
Required Education/ Experience:
* B.S. of engineering (prefered Mechanical or Industrial)
FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
* Proficiency with the following computer software: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. Must quickly adapt to learning new software.
* Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with the capacity to work independently, coupled with the ability to plan and perform work with minimal direction and supervision.
* Excellent problem solving skills.
* Must be detailed oriented.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Must demonstrate a proven ability to coordinate, direct and maintain highly confidential work and materials.
* Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands, projects and priorities
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ EFFORT:

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to
where safety glasses and steel toes shoes while in the shop area as required.
The employee is required to perform light work duty. This means lifting ‎20
pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to
‎10 pounds. The employee is required to stand, walk, and reach with arms and
hands four-six hours a day. Repetitive motions include simple grasping, fine
manipulation, pushing and pulling, finger dexterity, foot movement, and
twisting. Audio-Visual abilities required by this job include Depth
Perception, Hearing (Avg.) and Enrolled in Annual Audiometric Testing.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed
to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The noise level in the work
environment is usually quiet to moderate. Other work environment elements they
are exposed to are chemicals, cold, dampness, fumes/gases, heat/humidity, and
heights.
