Title: LABORATORY SENIOR MANAGER
PURPOSE: Manages and controls the plant's laboratory processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITES:
* Manages the specimen preparation process, as applicable.
* Ensures that laboratory has all necessary resources such as: equipment,IT tools, qualified personnel, applicable documentation (standards or internal documents) to perform required testing.
* Manages the testing process to ensure the adequacy and availability of testing results in a timely manner.
* Manages internal product release related to laboratory test results.
* Verifies the development and application of safety standards in the laboratories.
* Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.
* Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources, norms and procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
* To participate in HSE objectives setting, define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of HSE performance.
