Project Logistics Coordinator, Dmm IG

We are looking for an experienced Project Logistics Coordinator to join our
Dammam team. You should have air and sea logistics experience and be a fluent
in Arabic with excellent English communication skills.

Your Role

You will manage operational and commercial requirements for MRO, Oil & Gas
client, Project Logistics, this includes export/import air/sea operations In
addition to customer-facing duties including customer service, expediting and
working together on invoicing and SOA activities. Furthermore the role
requires the use of existing business relationships to leverage future
business opportunities

Your Responsibilities

• To process all export and import bookings, documentation and dispatch requirements accurately and within agreed time frames including liaising with carriers for pre bookings and allocations


• To ensure that document processing requirements meet agreed customer service standards


• To ensure that all documentation is filed or scanned as per operational and company requirements


• To ensure all freight rates are checked and are accurate at all times


• To ensure all entries are done and cleared for export or import


• To monitor the shipments and ensure they are being processed correctly


• To liaise with other departments as required to develop positive working relationships to ensure compliance and to limit unnecessary delays due to inadequate processes and non-compliance issues


• Growing professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.


• Liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.


• Facilitating flow of materials between various vendors and departments.


• Work with vendors to determine a reasonable rate and to coordinate the timing and means of delivery and handle any related to vendor service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays.


• Develop budgets for the goods required by each department by providing shipping options with budgetary rates and Seek out ways to save money on the procurement of goods.


• Follow up with local vendors, forwarders on shipment clearance and delivery status.

Your Skills and Experiences**
* Native Arabic Speaker with excellent English communication skills.
* ‎6 yrs of experience in logistics industry with minimum ‎3 yrs in key account management "Experience in key account management is proffered.
* Two to five year of experience in Air Logistics.
* Two to five year of experience in Sea Logistics.
* Minimum apprenticeship or vocational course, Bachelors or Master degree preferred.
* ‎3 yrs of experience in Freight, Customs Clearance.
* Experience in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.
* Demonstrating drive, commitment and ability to foster effective collaboration and teamwork.
