Junior Analyst, Business Support & Svcs

The role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and
peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and
upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation
performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and
accurate fashion, and provide end user training and assistance where required.
Also Engage in the maintaining, monitoring and delivery of services in
effective operations of IT workstations, printers and company approved
software at specified locations

Major Responsibilities:

• Engage in the Assembly, installation and configuration of workstations, printers and company approved software at Designated Location


• Provide technical support for workstations, printers and company approved software.


• Creation and Resolution of IT Tickets for all the Incidents & Service Requests of all users at assigned location by using Microsoft Service Manager


• Monitoring & Troubleshooting of End User Systems as part of preventive measure by using advance monitoring tools i.e. Nexthink


• Maintaining IT assets and inventory of IT consumables and materials in coordination with Support engineering teams at stock locations.


• Coordinate with operations teams (network and systems) in the provision of IT services in timely manner


• Provide the full coordination to IT users from engagement to resolution.


• Provide the initial network diagnostics, and end point termination and punching of network cables


• Log issues in the Help Desk IT support systems and coordinate in their resolution


• Follow-up on pending issues and provide 1st line coordination with second line IT support engineering teams


• Report to engineering teams on IT stock/Asset issues in timely manner


• Engage in IT support tasks as and when specified by IT Engineering teams and IT management

• To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.


• To follow safety instructions related to his jobs.


• To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.


• To keep the provided PPEs in good and workable conditions.


• To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.


• To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.


• To attend safety trainings planned for him.


• Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.

• Troubleshooting and Hardware skills


• Network/Systems problem Diagnostic. Cable making & testing Techniques


• Work with Support team and other employees and departments within the company


• Handling IT Material for the Designated Plants.


• Problem Analysis, Compliance to policy & procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science.


• Minimum certification in either Technical Associate, solution associate, A+ or in network level.


• At least ‎2-year experience in providing IT support in large scale computing environment


• Training in Windows Operating System Or A+ Hardware is a plus.


• Certified as Microsoft Technical Associate level is preferred

Training Needs and Potential Career Path

Candidate should be provided at least one course in each category below
leading to Microsoft Certified Levels (minimum ‎2 courses if not taken in
earlier career or education institution)

* Microsoft solution Associate level
* CompTIA A+ level
Second the candidate should be provided with at least one course on Nexthink
End User IT monitoring.
