Senior Consultant in KSA / Jeddah

This role presents an excellent career opportunity for a professional with
sound experience in the field of supply chain who is interested in working
with industry leaders in an international team environment.
Task
* Hands-on Network Optimization and Facility Design. Work directly with client to understand business requirements of the organization, identify data requirements, and formulate strategies that yield value
* Identify improvement areas, solution alternatives, and calculate benefits to the supply chain. Develop solutions, facilitate sourcing of services and equipment, and manage projects through implementation
* Coordinate tasks for small to medium size teams to ensure timely execution of deliverables. Mentor project team to drive cross-functional collaboration. Manage project requirements and budget
* Develop close working relationship with clients through outstanding project execution and communication. Develop responses and proposals to RFPs appropriate to a customer's needs
* Develop Team Members and further strengthen our local capability mix
* Lead the analysis and development of the material flow engineering solutions, evaluating costs, service and flexibility to define optimal solutions. Lead in determining layout plan, work flow processes, labor & material handling requirements and general building parameters
* Lead in developing design of a warehousing or factory logistics infrastructure, lead in developing the building infrastructure, coordinating interfaces, IT Systems, safety, and quality requirements amongst others
* Lead the modeling of Supply Chains of the future (Planning, Structures) and support in evaluating different (future) scenarios
* Lead the realization of the project for the client by being present on site and guiding the team members throughout the implementation duration, supporting by witnessing and supporting the approval of commissioning tests, performance tests and availability tests which are required to recommend the acceptance of the solution to the client
Profile
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics
* ‎5 to ‎10 years of relevant supply chain experience, in the following fields: Network Optimization, Facility Design (from Concept till Implementation), Warehouse Improvement projects, Process and Material Flow Optimization, and S&OP
* Consulting experience is required. Experience working cross-functionally among the entire supply chain is preferred
* Entrepreneurial Spirit and Can-Do mentality to fully leverage the start-up nature of our business here in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries and supporting the team to deliver according to highest quality standards
* Opportunity to take on leadership role quite quickly (internal capability building, business development etc.)
* Advanced skill with MS Office suite, especially Excel, Power BI and MS PowerPoint. Experience with network optimization tools is a plus (Coupa / Llamasoft SC Guru, Locom)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Arabic is a plus.
* Candidate is required to be open to travel to various locations within the GCC (to major cities and industrial zones) depending on project requirements. Traveling could be up to ‎80% of the working days and sometimes all ‎5 days of the week. In implementation projects, traveling might be up to ‎1 month in a stretch
