Role Purpose
The Price and Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining items
pricing inventory levels, making inventory reports, recording and labelling
inventory items to be used in the future and maintaining accurate records.
Maintains records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder
points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in
inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.
Key Responsibilities
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders
as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory,
and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels
shelves.
Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.
Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones,
and assisting customers.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma
Work Experience
1 - 2 years of experience
Knowledge
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and services ordering and inventory control.
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
Ability to receive, stock, and deliver goods.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Knowledge of invoicing procedures.
Skills
Database management skills.
Ability to analyse and solve problems.
Clerical, word processing, and office skills.
Language & communication skills
ENGLISH & ARABIC– Basic level required in speaking, reading and writing
