The Early Career Training is a ‎12 months program and it is an investment in
young talents where GE trains fresh graduates who meet the required criteria
to perform their traineeship in a GE business. The traineeship duration varies
upon business requirement and will develop the general skills of the trainee
and provide on the job knowledge and technical experience. Positions requiring
understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures.

Job Description

Responsibilities*
The primary focus of this role is to support GEMTEC's Environmental, Health &
Safety Department in the development and growth of the systems and training
functions. This may include but not be limited to the following:
* Work directly with Production Operators on the manufacturing floor to drive EHS process and practice improvements.
* Learn the basic EHS processes for the operations to provide effective support.
* Assist with the development and implementation of various existing and new strategies including programs, processes and assisting in specific EHS training programs.
* Assist in reviewing and updating existing EHS materials delivered internally within the organization.
* Assist in documenting business processes utilized to manage EHS within the organization and in documenting accountabilities and responsibilities for the same.
* Other technical and general duties as required and requested in support of the site EHS department.
* Lead the EHS day to day activates align with EHS function
Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:*
*
Bachelors degree in Engineering - Industrial, EHS, Mechanical or Electrical
or related engineering back ground or Diploma with some experience in EHS.
* Active listener with good communication skills in English.
* Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with crosses functional teams.
* Displays willingness to work in harsh environments on as needed basis.
