Purpose of the Job
To promote a proactive Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) culture by
assisting with the implementation and monitoring of core HSE programs/issues.
Provides direction, assistance and training with all aspects of the HSE
program and processes in a costeffective manner
Job Responsibilities
* Set goals with the direct manager for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision and communicate them to subordinates.
* Organize workflow with direct manager and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
* Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching within direct manger.
* Communicating HSE related aspects with customers, suppliers & Authorities (GACA, RAC, Customs, SFDA, Police etc.)
* Authorizing the permit-to-work for customers and contractors.
* Assisting the department on internal/external audits related to health and safety conducted by Clients.
* Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
* To conduct daily inspection of the facility
* To ensure facility is meeting company's safety standards and policies
