Job Description & Specification:
Mission:
Ensure that country has the human resources necessary to achieve current and
future business needs.
Develop in liaison with Group HR local HR policies and procedures.
Industrial relations ensure best practice in support of business objectives.
Responsibities :
Network :
* In liaison with BG HRD develop and manage country HR network
* Identify and realize synergies in HR organization/ processes especially payroll and admin
* Ensure local administrative/ legal obligations are met
Organizational Development :
* Validate and deploy country SDP
* Animate country people reviews to ensure internal mobility
* In liaison with Group HR propose and implement attract and retain programme
Process Improvement :
* Ensure process objectives
* Determine, implement and monitor metrics (KPIs).
* Improve process performance
* Negotiate other process conflicts with respective process owners
* Request required employee training
* Review, approve and communicate process changes and/or improvements
* Drive towards system improvement goals
* Represent co-workers during internal/external assessments
Recruitment and Selection :
* Develop company's employer brand
* Select and develop preferred recruitment suppliers
* Manage programme of campus relations
* Participate in selection of key managers for the country including plant HR managers
* Maintain a talent watch
Salary policy/ Review :
* Propose salary policy to Group HR and ensure it's subsequent co-ordinated deployment
* Validate site phase 1 proposals
* Ensure up to date market data
Compensation and Benefits :
* Propose legal policies in line with Group policy
Training :
* Co-ordinate deployment of Group policy/ programmes
* Ensure synergies between plants
* Identify and select preferred suppliers
Employee Engagement :
* Ensure best practices are generalized in country
Safety :
- Ensure best practices are generalized in country - Validate ergonomics
standard
Risks & Opportunities:
* Identify risks and opportunities foreseen by the Human Resources function.
* Actively monitor the implementation of actions associated with the risks & opportunities and their impact on the business periodically.
Communication :
- Ensure two way flow of communication to help shape Group policies and
decisions - Update on legal, fiscal changes, etc...
