Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced faculty member to join our
team in the Communications and Information Engineering program (CIE) at the
University of Science and Technology (UST) at Zewail City (ZC). The CIE BSc
degree program is internationally accredited by ABET.

Candidates are expected to teach multiple courses in the following areas:
Area ‎1: Deep Learning and Computer Vision
Area ‎2: Cloud computing and big data analytics

Successful candidates are expected to contribute significantly to the teaching
activities in the University of Science and Technology, will contribute to
undergraduate and graduate programs, and will be actively engaged in research.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can initiate and carry out
independent and collaborative research in AI, computer vision, and big data
analytics

Applicants must demonstrate an excellent record of teaching at both
undergraduate and graduate levels, student evaluations, significant record of
publications in refereed journals, as well as a solid record in research.

Qualifications

• Applicant should hold a Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related areas, obtained from a reputable university at the time of application.


• Extensive research and industrial work experience.


• Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in relevant areas.


• Experience in curriculum development is desired


• Ability to conduct independent and collaborative research in the mentioned areas.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
