Responsibilities
* Coordinate and execute a comprehensive procurement plan for all raw and packaging materials needed for production.
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and minimize inventory costs.
* Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all materials are available when needed and minimize waste.
* Work with materials management team to identify potential issues and implement processes to quickly resolve them.
* Evaluate suppliers based on cost- quality- and delivery metrics.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement of materials.
* Create visibility and reporting structures to senior management.
* Work closely with supply planner to convert unconstrained demand plan to constrained supply forecast.
Requirements
* Bachelor 's degree in supply chain management- Business Administration- or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement- preferably in a manufacturing or consumer goods environment.
* Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals- including sourcing- planning- and inventory management
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite- including Excel. Power BI is a plus.
* Excellent communication- problem-solving- and analytical skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced- deadline-driven environment.
