Job Summary:
Will perform Field and Sustainment Level maintenance support/augmentation to
include: Production control, Quality Control, Supply Management, maintenance,
and repair of aircraft. Position requires a skilled Aeronautical Logs and
Records Clerk with the ability to perform Intermediate Maintenance
Periodicity requirements on MH-60R helicopters. Organizational, Intermediate,
and Depot level skills are desired to inspect, repair, remove, replace, and
generate aeronautical logs, records, and historical files. Extensive knowledge
of aircraft log books, electronic databases, repairable component records, and
production control fundamentals are required.
Shall be well versed in Technical Data Management. The Aeronautical Logs and
Records Clerk will maintain, inspect, store, download and provide, and
update the Quality Assurance Technical Data Library. Will also manage the
Technical Directive program compliance on the H-60 Airframe in Saudi
Arabia.
Essential Responsibilities:
Implements quality control and ground safety programs to ensure compliance
with contract specifications.
Inspects and verifies proper completion of documentation of Safety of Flight
discrepancies.
Briefs and debriefs pilots and crew members assigned to perform functional
check flights post IMP/PMI process.
Performs audits and inspections of work center and maintenance actions,
procedures, equipment, and facilities.
Examines parts and components for conformance to design specification to
determine serviceability; serviceable, unserviceable-repairable,
unserviceable-non repairable, affixing appropriate form/tag for disposition;
return to stock, route to appropriate shop for repair and/or turn-in.
Reviews maintenance source documents, aircraft inspection records, notes,
recurring discrepancies, or trends and initiates appropriate action.
Monitors timeliness and applicability of aircraft maintenance technical data
and/or technical library. Manages the technical improvement program and
reviews engineering investigative requests.
Initiates and reviews quality deficiency reports, technical deficiency reports
and hazardous material reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Documents and review aircraft weight and balance date to ensure accuracy and
provide oversight during actual aircraft weighing procedures.
Provides support to Quality Assurance/Environmental, Safety and Health Program
by supporting the overarching requirements of the AS9110 Quality and Safety
management plan.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Have verifiable experience maintaining aircraft logs and records.

Must be able to pass a background check, which could include a criminal
history and credit check for access to Government facilities. May be required
to obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
May be required to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground
support equipment, forklift, APU, etc.
