Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
* Manage and coordinate inventory processes, together with systems and reporting measures associated.
* Liaise with the customer on inventory issues, reporting and adjustments.
* Identify inventory discrepancies, investigate and prepare relevant reports.
* Manage annual, recurrent and ad-hoc stock taking processes including the provision of timely reports.
* Participate in standardization processes across the site to ensure daily inventory control operations are managed consistently, efficiently and effectively.
* Perform inventory control, processes and systems consistent with the objectives of the contract.
* Perform regular analysis to identify fast and slow-moving stock.
* Make suggestions for efficient reclassification of inventory and implement whether approval obtained.
* Ensure warehouse utilisation is maintained to maximise storage space use via inventory management.
* Maintain proffesional external relationships (materials and services suppliers; logistics providers in coordination with Operational Procurement / Inbound Logistics Support & Services) regarding operational issues.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
* Supply Chain certification and / or Postgraduate are preferred.
* Bachelor's degree will be an asset.
* 4-5 years of management experience in materials management operations or supply chain organizations, with advance knowledge in Inventory Controlling topics
* Experience with systems and solutions used in inventory management, warehouse management and document management in cataloguing tools for standardization activities.
* Good knowledge in the Mining & Metals industry value chains and markets
* Ability to manage work in matrix organizations and lead cross-functional teams, especially relevant in the proposed transitory operating model (reporting to the Category Lead but with daily interactions with other SC&P shared services functions)
* Strong knowledge in procurement ERPs model; understanding of the evolution in Materials Management IT solutions and ability to learn as Power User new solutions to be implemented.
* Strong managerial and interpersonal skills for interacting with Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management and other P&SC teams, as well as with suppliers, Ma'aden employees and upper management.
* At least good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work and to generate alternatives and solutions.
* At least good writing skills when dealing with colleagues within the P&SC function, Ma'aden Employees and suppliers of materials and services.
