* EMD Purchaser for Leader in Heavy Lifting and Transport Industry
* Working at Al Jubail , Saudi Arabia
Do you enjoy working with a range of people and businesses? As a purchaser for
Mammoet you will be developing and maintaining a network of vendors to ensure
we can source the best and most cost-effective equipments, tools, resources in
line with our Equipment Maintenance Department.
WHAT YOU 'LL BE DOING:
* Sourcing and managing all aspects of purchasing
* Analyzing and identifying EMD requirements
* Ensuring purchasing flawlessly supports EMD department requirements
* Selecting vendors and negotiating terms
* Ensuring goods and services are purchased in line with business objectives
* Responsible for overseeing incoming and outgoing of materials, invoices and documentation.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* Expert level experience in negotiation. Professional level experience in contract management, project management and purchasing systems.
* English, fluent proficiency verbal and written
* Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience in EMD procurement and storekeeping. Relevant project management and/or construction organization experience is sought after and will be considered transferable.
* Bachelor's degree in economics or logistics
