This role is responsible for gathering, analysing, and synthesising market and
client data to support the firm's business development initiatives and go-to-
market strategies. This primary focus of this role is to support the firm's
key strategic initiatives, including the Key Client Programme and Strategic
Projects Initiative.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Responsible for the success of the firm's Strategic Projects Initiative, which focuses on market insights in relation to key strategic initiatives across multiple sectors in the MENA region, stakeholder mapping and developing of relationships with identified stakeholders across consultancies, law firms and government in MENA, with the aim to securing new instructions for legal work in relation to strategic projects in the region.
* Collect and analyse market and client data to identify trends and insights.
* Conduct primary and secondary research to gain a deep understanding of the market across all the firm's key sectors and a deep understanding of client needs.
* Conduct individual/group business intelligence to support the partnerships' key business development goals.
* Research, analyse, and summarise information on companies, executive information, business sectors, technologies, and legal trends to assist in the firm, sector groups, and individual business development efforts.
* Work closely with the Finance team to prepare, maintain, and present highly detailed quantitative firm financial data for business development initiatives.
* Actively engage in growing and maintaining the firm's legal services portfolio with clients, including institutional and potential clients with a focus on the firm's Key Client Programme.
* Perform in-depth analysis of competitors and their service offerings.
* Stay up to date with industry trends and developments to inform the organisation's strategic direction.
* Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor market and client performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the implementation of insights-driven initiatives.
Requirements & Personal Attributes
* Bachelors/ Master's Degree in Economics/ Management/ Marketing Analytics/Business, Economics).
* Proven experience in market intelligence and client insights.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
