Primary Teacher (KS1) - APRIL 2023 start

About the Position
We are looking for talented and dedicated individuals who will bring skill and
enthusiasm to their role as an educator. As a class teacher, you will have
responsibility for teaching the majority of the British National Curriculum
subjects to a class of up to ‎30 children, as well as being responsible for the
social and emotional well-being of students. You will work as part of a wider
team, sharing the planning, and supporting one another in your daily roles.
Teachers must hold a Bachelor of Education Degree (or a Bachelor 's Degree and
PGCE in the relevant age range) and have experience teaching Key Stage ‎1/‎2.
Experience in an International British National Curriculum School or UK school
is desirable. Knowledge of Google Classrooms, google drive, and the associated
programs would also be desirable.
A generous amount of release time is provided to enable good planning and
assessment to occur during the school day. Weekly meetings ensure continuous
professional development and time to engage with peer-led learning.
About ICS Branch ‎4: English Curriculum School
We are a popular English Curriculum School centrally located in the heart of
Abu Dhabi. Branch ‎4 is entering its 4th year. We began as a Primary school and
are slowly expanding into a through school, adding Secondary year groups one
year at a time. Year ‎9 will be added for August ‎2022 and will be the first
cohort to start working towards IGCSE qualifications. We are co-educational
and students are in mixed-gender classes.
