Accountable To
The purpose of the position is to plan, manage, communicate and coordinate the
Terminals Operations related activates like cruise business, stakeholders'
communications, branding, marketing, announcements, events in the emirate of
Fujairah by performing all task related to the elaborations the development of
FT.
Responsible for
Core Responsibilities:
Managing overall cruise business related matters in FT that includes
(Operational, business development and marketing subjects)
Drive the cruise business development in FT with the cruise lines in line with
AD Ports Group's vision
Prepare reports that drive the decisions of FT CEO for the cruise business
Analyse the overall business performance by providing detailed reports based
on strengths, weaknesses which will assist the top management to take
appropriate action.
Working Relationship
Overall control on market research activities related to the cruise business
Forecasts the workforce requirements for the department and develops a
workforce plan accordingly, in discussion with the top management to obtains
requisite approvals
Enforces an open communication culture within the department for better team
efficiency and employee satisfaction
Oversee the development of the cruise business incentive program in order to
attract more cruise lines to FT
Objectives and Role Profile
Coordinate all cruise activities at Fujairah Terminals under direct
supervision of FT CEO via timely coordination with the government stakeholders
i.e. Immigration, Customs, Police, Port Authorities and CID.
Have regular meetings with the Agents and Internal & External stakeholders to
ensure requirements are met ahead of time.
Oversee the operational methodology of cruise in FT and updated for better
practice
Liaise with government stakeholders to ensure smooth operations pre and during
the cruise season
Communicate effectively with Immigration and Customs to ensure FT cruise
objective is aligned with both parties
Letters and presentations preparation both Arabic and English for external
stakeholders
Key Tasks and Performance Indicators
Communicate the cruise schedule and maintain updating if any changes with the
cruise terminal stakeholders
Act as FT cruise representative with the government stakeholders in any
project after the approval of the management
Work closely with relevant staff to ensure that all required tasks are being
solved and closed.
Supervise the work of subordinates to ensure that work is distributed and work
procedures are followed properly.
Developing input and support in developing an integrated communications
strategy for the company incorporating PR, Marketing and Online.
Implement communications plans from time to time to increase brand awareness
and recognition for the organization.
Qualifications/Experience/Competencies
Bachelor or equivalent degree in business administration, public relations or
relevant field such as languages, marketing, etc...
