As an Workshop Maintenance technician, you will be responsible for
facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement or
repair parts. You will contribute to the development of an operational plan
for your department and team activities. You will shape changes in products
and processes for your team to improve and innovate.
As a Workshop Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Breaking down and redress a variety of oilfield tools and reassembly in preparation for their next assignment
* Maintaining, pressure testing and assembling product / tools / sub-assemblies for operations
* Maintaining and repairing equipment for maximum utilization and reviewing equipment for when replacements required
* Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices
* Assisting in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
* Preparing and reviewing work scopes ensuring that all operations are carried out as per the company 's HSE and operating procedures
* Organizing and prioritizing your working day to ensure that the mobilization dates are met
* Assisting workshop team's workloads and support where required
* Providing coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
* Participating in morning safety briefs and familiarization with your daily work scopes
* Participating in the Safety Observation program, STOP work and practice the ‎5 Fundamentals in all your work activities
* Maintaining effective communication with your colleagues and supervisors
* Performing other assigned duties as required
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have bachelor 's degree from an accredited university and/or college (or a high school diploma)
* Have a minimum of ‎5 years of experience in a similar role
* Have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices
* Have basic skills in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes required and perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude
* Have a dedicated focus towards safety and quality
* Have knowledge of workshop equipment and their uses (shop tooling, measurement and material handling)
* Have good understanding in certification for Oil and Gas related equipment and experience in the Oil and Gas / Product, Valves and Wellhead industry
* Have computer skills & SAP knowledge preferable
* Have Forklift License (Preferred)
* Have a valid driving license and good driving record
