Under direct supervision, loads guns, prepares equipment to be made up on down
hole tools, prepares job for shipping and receives equipment after job is
complete for the WPS PSL in accordance with HMS process and gun manuals. The
Assists and mentors in the training of Loader I. Assists in the securing of
equipment to be sent to customer location and/or dock facility. Trains and
handles Radioactive Material (CO60) for various applications deemed by our
customers. Assist in all aspects of shop activities. May conduct safety
meetings on a periodic basis. Skills typically acquired through high school or
equivalent education and a minimum of 1 year experience in Gun shop which
includes experience in Gun Loader I or previous job. Must meet minimum
competency requirements for Loader I. May require Blaster License and CDL
License. Knowledge and understanding of Job Service Order to successfully load
guns for specific job. Ability to accept calls for loading and unloading
equipment and complete the appropriate shipping documents. Understands the HMS
process and gun manual. Basic mathematical, reading and writing skills.
Explosive Safety Blended training required. Must be able to completed
Explosive Responsible Person and Explosive User in Charge training.
